After graduating from the University of Buffalo, Chris began working as a Bank Auditor. In 1987 he changed career paths and started his own insurance agency (Christopher Joy Insurance Inc.). Then in 1996 he purchased Joy Insurance Agency, Inc. from his mother and founder of Joy Insurance, Frances Joy. Chris is married and has 3 children. In addition to following a variety of sports, he also enjoys hiking, biking, trail running, fine dining, reading, and traveling.
